We were recently asked what trick was used to animate the portraits<\/a> on the website. The answer is very simple: no trick. Pure photography. On the occasion of the redesign of our website we were able to win our friend Ueli Steingruber to produce new pictures of us. After a conceptual exchange, we put the idea on paper and agreed on a test session. According to our CI, high-contrast images with hard light and a dark background were planned. And because everything in space revolves around the only natural source of light, we wanted that too – just the other way around …<\/p>\n

The results of the tests were promising, which is why we made an appointment for the main session in Ueli’s studio on Geltenwilenstrasse in St. Gallen. The whole thing wasn’t just fun – the results turned out great and we are quite happy with it. A big thanks at this point to Ueli, who has created outstanding pictures with his fresh and curious manner as well as his calm and professional way of working.<\/p>\n
